Description: A letter from Rosemary Barker, widow of Hugh (finder of the arrowhead) who owned Rose Cottage in the 1970s as a holiday home. After Hugh died, Rosemary sold it to Alan and Edna Ash who retired there from Hill House. Rosemary bought a flat in Pulborough, Sussex from where she wrote the letter wishing us well etc. She died recently and her ashes were scattered in the field behind Rose Cottage. Rosemary would probably have been referring to the Sports Day in the letter
